Hendersonville, NC Henderson County’s Second Toga Run

The Toga Run is ELEVENTS annual 5K fun run. The Toga Run is a five kilometer fun run for the entire family. The event was held at Jackson Park, in Hendersonville, Nc.

“Our first Toga Run was a lot of fun, with the Remax Balloon, allowing spectators to obtain a birds eye view of the runners. The run this year was without the balloon due to the weather, however despite the rain participantshad a great time, as we raise awareness and funds for these great benefactors, and with coffee being provided by Jong Java” commented Graham Mew, Chairman of ELEVENTS.

ELEMENTS’ mission is to enrich the community in Henderson County by raising awareness and funding for educational organizations through fun and engaging events. The organization continues to partner with local firms, government and non-profits to create exciting events that support the community and residents of Western North Carolina.

Prizes were awarded for the race winners within various age brackets along with prizes for the best Togas. Along with the race, various local companies will have tables and tents out showcasing their products, including free samples of local produce. The Mill House lodge is also running a Toga Run special for guests who are participating in the run. For more information visit:http://millhouselodge.com
